So, I have a new school in a new city which means I had to find my own place to live. Being older, in grad school and kinda getting paid... I'm pretty much done with the student housing situation. Not to mention everything in Waterloo was a room in a house with 5 to 9 other people and expensive. So now I live in Kitchener. Which is a pretty big drive to school comparatively but so nice to have my own place. It feels more and more like home all the time, and its great to come home to the kittens. Sammy and Carmicheal have grown quite a bit since I got them over a year ago... but they all the difference when I don't have anyone to talk to.
The other thing that makes me really happy in my new apartment is my dining room/kitchen. The table extension I bought for more counter space is perfect. (In the photo below) It's exactly what I needed and I use it all the time. With the added pots and such above it makes for a great workstation, its the right height and everything. It made for a squishy ride back from MN, but totally worth it.
