Some time for my blog.

Maybe its time to give my blog some attention. I've been ignoring it for almost a month, but I must say its been a pretty busy month. Not as busy as other years at exam time but there has always been something for me to do.

Now I'm in MN visiting Sean and yeah I COULD do some reading for school but I want to just take time to veg and be bored. My urge to be bored never lasts long... I'm not really that type of person. And I know I also promised myself I would work on my thesis proposal this week.

I guess there are things that have changed since the last post. I'm generally happier now that I have some direction in the area of research for my thesis. I finished a paper in 3 weeks worth most of my marks in one class and this past Friday I wrote an unexpectantly hard exam. I signed up for classes for next term and I'm pretty excited about them. The important class is "Hot topics in security and privacy" which sounds so interesting. The interesting class that I'm auditing is "the social implications of computing" which I think will be a lot like cyber-ethics. I get to TA the third year User Interface class. Which makes me so happy that I won't be doing scheme programming anymore AND its not first year students. Tho, it should be interesting to see UWaterloo students doing user interface.... I haven't seen that creative side just yet.

Things are going well and I'm so excited for Christmas this year. I've suddenly become easy to buy for it seems and while no one is really asking me for ideas I keep hearing that they have already got my present and are so excited about it. Then in January, its my birthday... I know this is early to post about that... but its a big year, and kinda scary. Hopefully people will come celebrate with me and I can get super drunk.
