Wow, So I really do forget that I have this blog and that I should be using it to voice my opinions and tell of what I'm doing but then life gets in the way and I just forget or move on to the next thing. Lots of crazy stuff has been happening since last year, I'm making fairly good progress on my thesis which is exciting. (Actually this post is a bit of a distraction or procrastination from it but... you know that happens.) My website/portfolio is up and running at www.jannaweber.com yay! I tend to use twitter quite a bit for making connections and hearing the latest news. Its been quite an interesting experiment and I find its good to write about things even if its only 140 characters and no one may even be listening. Makes me feel slightly less crazy. I'm sure there is a sociology experiment in there somewhere.
What really prompted this post was the reminder to pledge for Ada Lovelace Day 2010. March 24th 2010 is Ada Lovelace day to raise awareness of women in tech.
