Movie Night.

So last night I dragged a few computer guys downtown to watch a free screening of Pirates of Silicon Valley. Great movie and should be required watching for all CS Majors, but shockingly none of these guys had ever seen the movie before. Some of the comments afterwards were surpriseing... "Wow, I didn't know Jobs was like that" "Does Microsoft still own part of Apple?" "Poor xerox" etc.

What I questioned this time was the Xerox PARC people? It seemed like there was a woman lead engineer... is that factual? Who is she and why don't we know more about her?

Also, this "theater" was questionable... I realize its only set up to show independant films, but I felt pretty dirty in their seats. The screen couldn't have been bigger than 60 inches and the Mono sound from the DVD player was unexpected. It was quite an experience however. Their sister theater looked much cleaner, but the movie was free so I shouldn't complain.
